Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jan-Erik Tinglöf made the kick off which started today's match. When Jan-Erik Tinglöf in the 5th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Kjell-Arne Rang kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When Knut Gernberg fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK Merzog's protests and gave Knut Gernberg a yellow card for diving instead. Knut Gernberg kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Jan-Erik Tinglöf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Rang having to interfere. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind R.S Avanti's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Rang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th minute Jörgen Forsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Hökqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell-Arne Rang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Erik Tinglöf in the 20th minute of the match. When Hans Torsberg fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored R.S Avanti's protests and gave Hans Torsberg a yellow card for diving instead. Hans Torsberg hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Jan-Erik Tinglöf managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Merzog's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Erik Tinglöf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell-Arne Rang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mattias Petersson fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored R.S Avanti's protests and gave Mattias Petersson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute Jan-Erik Tinglöf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell-Arne Rang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Knut Gernberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a defensive mix-up in R.S Avanti's zone, Jan-Erik Tinglöf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell-Arne Rang came out of the goal and Jan-Erik Tinglöf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kjell-Arne Rang came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by BK Merzog's Jan-Erik Tinglöf. But to his dismay, Jan-Erik Tinglöf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 47th minute of the match Tobias Pååk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kjell-Arne Rang showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörgen Forsberg to make the kick off. R.S Avanti's Kjell-Arne Rang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Tinglöf in the 53rd minute of play. Viggo Engman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Hökqvist having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, R.S Avanti's Jörgen Forsberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas Hökqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, R.S Avanti's Torbjörn Lundkvist got a free kick in the 66th minute. Kjell-Arne Rang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Erik Tinglöf's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in R.S Avanti's zone, Jan-Erik Tinglöf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell-Arne Rang came out of the goal and Jan-Erik Tinglöf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gösta Larsfält scored 3-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kjell-Arne Rang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kjell-Arne Rang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Erik Tinglöf in the 79th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, R.S Avanti's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Tinglöf came free, but Kjell-Arne Rang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Knut Gernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes R.S Avanti got a freekick which was hit by Viggo Engman. The audience was convinced that Jan-Erik Tinglöf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjell-Arne Rang was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
