After a defensive mix-up in Annerstad's zone, Jakob Sandberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralf Berg came out of the goal and Jakob Sandberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Annerstad:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ytterhogdal IF:s goal. Henrik Strand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Annerstad's Ralf Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Lööf in the 52nd minute of play. Magnus Askestät showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Alfors in the 60th minute of the match. Henrik Strand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustav Alfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Askestät having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
