Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pål Överman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Adrian Wallander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Rune Tunander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Sundin struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Rune Tunander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holsbybrunn IF. 13 minutes into the game, Jan-Erik Dalberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosersberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holsbybrunn IF the free kick. 15 minutes into the match, Holsbybrunn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Överman came free, but Örjan Jespersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Holsbybrunn IF's zone, William Billing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Örjan Jespersson came out of the goal and William Billing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Pål Överman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosersberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pål Överman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20thth minute of the game William Billing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holsbybrunn IF's Örjan Jespersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 21 played minutes Rosersberg got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Pedersson. Adrian Wallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sten Tinglöv fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holsbybrunn IF's protests and gave Sten Tinglöv a yellow card for diving instead. Sten Tinglöv kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Pål Överman might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Örjan Jespersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pål Överman ran back to his position shaking his head. After 31 minutes of play, Rosersberg's William Billing made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Örjan Jespersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Örjan Jespersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pål Överman went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Harry Ahlbom's late challenge caught a Holsbybrunn IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harry Ahlbom helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Holsbybrunn IF booed when Rosersberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Ahlbom didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrian Wallander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pål Överman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 played minutes Rosersberg got a freekick which was hit by Bo-Erik Granström. Daniel Sundin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rune Tunander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Pär Melberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rune Tunander. Rosersberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pär Melberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 68 minutes into the match, Holsbybrunn IF's goalkeeper Örjan Jespersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by William Billing. Pål Överman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Rosersberg's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Holsbybrunn IF's Pär Melberg got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Pål Överman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Örjan Jespersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes Holsbybrunn IF got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Östman. 77 minutes into the game, William Billing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Örjan Jespersson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If William Billing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Pål Överman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 91 minutes, William Billing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosersberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Billing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Örjan Jespersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Billing in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Rosersberg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Holsbybrunn IF throughout the match.
