Karl Engström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Bengt Lekberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Surahammar FK booed when Möja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Mellbad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evert Wiklund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stig Ingemarsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play.
