Ulf Åberg started the match with the kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, André Aleberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dark Star's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Aleberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dark Star's Stig Strand got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kent Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 24 minutes on the clock, Michael Johnsson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Aspabruk FF a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kalle Dalström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dark Star's Paul Qvalfeldt. 0-3. After 39 minutes, Edwin Helberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dark Star and the Aspabruk FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Dark Star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwin Helberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Åberg in the 42nd minute of play forced Dark Star's goalkeeper Paul Qvalfeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stig Strand was the one to do the kick off. Leonardo Eskilsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Folke Kihlberg having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Dark Star's zone, Kent Johnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Qvalfeldt came out of the goal and Kent Johnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kent Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 played minutes Aspabruk FF got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Wiman. In the 72nd minute, Ulf Åberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edwin Helberg kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Dark Star's Paul Qvalfeldt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Star from getting a goal against them. Ulf Åberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dark Star's Paul Qvalfeldt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Star from getting a goal against them. Kent Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ulf Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Dark Star's Paul Qvalfeldt got control of the ball when Kent Johnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 played minutes Dark Star got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Lind. A collision led to Aspabruk FF getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Birger Britz hit a great ball. The Dark Star supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Aspabruk FF's performance. The match ended with a win for Aspabruk FF.
