In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Lime's goalkeeper Jan Adelsköld, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan Adelsköld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Flinck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torbjörn Mårtensson made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Leamington Brakes's Ingvar Henriksson. Jan Adelsköld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Flinck in the 10th minute of play. Jan Adelsköld didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Göran Flinck went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Göran Flinck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes FC Lime got a freekick which was hit by Per-Erik Pihlgren. If Göran Flinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Lime's Jan Adelsköld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Ekerot in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Flinck in the 25th minute of play forced FC Lime's goalkeeper Jan Adelsköld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, FC Lime's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Henriksson came free, but Jan Adelsköld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göran Flinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Adelsköld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Flinck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Ingvar Henriksson made a precise shot to the right of Jan Adelsköld. FC Lime's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Vilgot Ekerot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Adelsköld having to interfere. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Lime's goalkeeper Jan Adelsköld, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 minutes, Göran Flinck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leamington Brakes and the FC Lime players grew even worse after the yellow card. Göran Flinck hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After the first half Leamington Brakes were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Göran Flinck made the kick off in the second half. Ingvar Henriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Jan Adelsköld came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Leamington Brakes's Ingvar Henriksson. But to his dismay, Ingvar Henriksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ingvar Henriksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Adelsköld having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, FC Lime's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Flinck came free, but Jan Adelsköld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Göran Flinck notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of FC Lime's Jan Adelsköld. Jan Adelsköld was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ingvar Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Adelsköld came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Leamington Brakes's Göran Flinck. But to his dismay, Göran Flinck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After some careless play in the FC Lime defense, Göran Flinck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Adelsköld. The FC Lime fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Adelsköld should have stopped the shot. Leamington Brakes's attentive Ingvar Henriksson managed to snatch the ball when Einar Bjurström made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Göran Flinck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Göran Flinck got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, FC Lime's Jan Adelsköld got control of the ball when Göran Flinck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan Adelsköld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Henriksson in the 91st minute of play. After 95 played minutes Leamington Brakes got a freekick which was hit by Vilgot Ekerot. If Ingvar Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Lime fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Leamington Brakes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
