When Jens Jakobsson fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DIF Fotboll's protests and gave Jens Jakobsson a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of DIF Fotboll:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tobo IFK:s goal. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Tobo IFK. Leif Kinnman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pontus Vik. 1-0. 16 minutes into the game, DIF Fotboll's Niclas Fastesson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anders Åkerman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 20th match minute, Tobo IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Bergström to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, DIF Fotboll's Fritz Ek got a free kick in the 26th minute. Peter Duset received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Pontus Vik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobo IFK's Anders Åkerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Stenqvist in the 33rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per-Olof Sandwall during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, DIF Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Olof Sandwall to maneuver through the defense. Albert Odeen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to DIF Fotboll getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Per Stenqvist hit a great ball. After 46 minutes of play, Tobo IFK's Peter Duset made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pontus Vik was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albert Odeen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albert Odeen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Pontus Vik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Lundblad kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Niclas Fastesson took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anders Åkerman. Anders Åkerman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After 82 minutes, Peter Duset mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tobo IFK and the DIF Fotboll players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tobo IFK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Peter Duset hit a great ball. Per Stenqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. After 91 minutes of play, Tobo IFK's Albert Odeen made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Duset's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pontus Vik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tobo IFK fully deserved thier win.
