FC Zoccers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kättilstorp BK the free kick. A collision led to FC Zoccers getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jon Ahlstedt hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Erik Åström in the 11th minute of play forced FC Zoccers's goalkeeper Olof Alegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Frans Nordmark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Billy Åkerström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Olof Alegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Zoccers's goalkeeper Olof Alegren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Greger Månsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Stig Lang managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zoccers's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig Lang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Olsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Greger Månsson in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Kättilstorp BK's Robert Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Kättilstorp BK from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Kättilstorp BK's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Månsson came free, but Robert Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig Lang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Olsson having to interfere. Robert Olsson was a little too slow when Greger Månsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 47th minute Greger Månsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Erik Åström to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Greger Månsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Olsson was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. FC Zoccers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Lang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Greger Månsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Stig Lang came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the FC Zoccers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig Lang couldn't finish the play.
