Malte Västlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Birger Ekström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Malte Västlund ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of BK Björkris booed when FC Badjis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Åke Vidman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birger Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malte Västlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After recieving a nice pass, BK Björkris's Oskar Hafström tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Badjis's zone, Malte Västlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birger Ekström came out of the goal and Malte Västlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC Badjis getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Felix Sandström hit a great ball. Åke Mogren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Arne Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, BK Björkris's Calle Östman got a free kick in the 21st minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Benjamin Vennersten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Badjis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Vennersten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BK Björkris's Åke Mogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Arne Bengtsson in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kent Collin during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, BK Björkris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Collin to maneuver through the defense. Åke Mogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Vennersten in the 31st minute of the match. Åke Mogren came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Badjis's Einar Gadd. But to his dismay, Einar Gadd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Birger Ekström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krister Brander in the 35th minute. FC Badjis's Birger Ekström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sivert Vennerström in the 36th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Arne Bengtsson in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Åke Mogren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When FC Badjis's Benjamin Vennersten in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Björkris's goalie prevented a goal. Åke Mogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Einar Gadd in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sivert Vennerström made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Vennersten in the 54th minute of play forced BK Björkris's goalkeeper Åke Mogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klas Pettersson in the 58th minute of play forced FC Badjis's goalkeeper Birger Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Vennersten was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. FC Badjis's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 89th minute, Sven-Arne Bengtsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Badjis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.
