A collision led to Gunnebo RK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Börje Norberg hit a great ball. Mikael Bergman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt-Åke Backlund went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute, Otto Möllgren made a precise shot to the right of Mark Kielstedt. Snuskekattene IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 23 minutes into the game, Claes Groth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gunnebo RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Snuskekattene IF the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Gunnebo RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claes Groth to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulrik Vennerkvist got free with Mikael Bergman in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mikael Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Åke Backlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Åke Backlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikael Bergman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Otto Möllgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mikael Bergman made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Oliver Bammerman sent off a good shot on target. Mark Kielstedt came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Gunnebo RK's Robin Löv. But to his dismay, Robin Löv quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bengt-Åke Backlund to strike the kick off in the second half. When Ulrik Vennerkvist, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 55 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mikael Bergman was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Filiph Bengtsson charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filiph Bengtsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Snuskekattene IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Gunnebo RK. Henning Löfdahl stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mark Kielstedt. 1-3. In the 69th match minute, Snuskekattene IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrik Vennerkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Snuskekattene IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Robin Löv fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mark Kielstedt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robin Löv showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 82 minute of play. Otto Möllgren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mark Kielstedt firmly grabbed it by the left post. Otto Möllgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Mark Kielstedt made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Snuskekattene IF's zone, Otto Möllgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Kielstedt came out of the goal and Otto Möllgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulrik Vennerkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Bergman having to interfere. Gunnebo RK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
