A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Anders Ålberg charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anders Ålberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Ytterby got a freekick which was hit by Anders Ålberg. The supporters of Vålådalen booed when Ytterby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Åkerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lennart Hurtig took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emanuel Strömbom. Ytterby's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sven-Edvin Hjälm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Strömbom having to interfere. Gert Nordström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Strömbom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. If Gert Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sven-Edvin Hjälm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Emanuel Strömbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ytterby's Bertil Tunström got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Sven-Edvin Hjälm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Strömbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 49 minutes, Henric Pedersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ytterby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henric Pedersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henric Pedersson to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Strömbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Edvin Hjälm went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 58 minutes, Kalle Lövskog mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vålådalen and the Ytterby players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kalle Lövskog hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Henric Pedersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ytterby's zone, Gert Nordström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Strömbom came out of the goal and Gert Nordström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vålådalen's Jerry Brogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Brogren in the 75th minute of play. Vålådalen's Sven-Edvin Hjälm got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henric Pedersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Brogren having to interfere. A collision led to Vålådalen getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Kalle Lövskog hit a great ball. Emanuel Strömbom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gert Nordström's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The supporters of Vålådalen booed when Ytterby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Brogren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Ytterby's Henric Pedersson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerry Brogren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ytterby's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
