Spectators: 7329 (Terracing: 5498, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jan-Ove Hedlund took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Sivert Wästerberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vålådalen's Jerry Brogren. Jerry Brogren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Höllviken's Jan-Ove Hedlund got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Vålådalen's goal looked a bit too open when Sivert Wästerberg came free, but Jerry Brogren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes Vålådalen got a freekick which was hit by Kalle Lövskog. Richard Berglund was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 36th minute of the match Richard Berglund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerry Brogren skillfully saved the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Kalle Lövskog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vålådalen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Höllviken the free kick. Kalle Lövskog kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gert Nordström to strike the kick off in the second half. Ove Burman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Hjälm, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Sivert Wästerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jerry Brogren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sivert Wästerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sivert Wästerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Jerry Brogren made a huge save. In the 72nd minute, Sven-Edvin Hjälm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ove Burman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Jerry Brogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Hedlund in the 77th minute of play. Ove Burman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Nordström in the 81st minute of the match. If Sven-Edvin Hjälm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gert Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Burman having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Gert Nordström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ove Burman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sivert Wästerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Brogren having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
