Anderslöv's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ola Thidén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Valentin Apelqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Anderslöv's Svante Brask fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ola Thidén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Apelqvist having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Örjan Siggesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Apelqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Thidén in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Eklund in the 18th minute of play forced Anderslöv's goalkeeper Nils Backlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svante Brask took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Apelqvist. Valentin Apelqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ola Thidén charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ola Thidén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Anderslöv got a freekick which was hit by Ola Thidén. Svante Brask sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Sven-Oskar Stenström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anderslöv's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Löftadalens IF the free kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Anderslöv getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Svante Brask hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Löftadalens IF's zone, Svante Brask stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Apelqvist came out of the goal and Svante Brask tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Svante Brask might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Apelqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Svante Brask ran back to his position shaking his head. Svante Brask fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Apelqvist having to interfere. Ola Thidén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Dan Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Svante Brask got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anderslöv's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
