After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Billy Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Blues Brothers's supporters rose to their feet, but Billy Holmgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Bergström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Arenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Skark having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, The Blues Brothers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Finman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Arenius in the 43rd minute of play forced The Blues Brothers's goalkeeper Ivar Skark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig-Arne Västerstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
