Åke Henriksson hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, one of Pettans Gamla Gubbar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pettans Gamla Gubbar. The referee gave FC Magsyra a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marko Forss, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pettans Gamla Gubbar's Anton Högman. 0-1. Håkan Olenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Håkan Olenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 27 minutes into the match, Pettans Gamla Gubbar's Gustaf Ånger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arman Smedfeldt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to FC Magsyra getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Håkan Olenberg hit a great ball. Reine Säfström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 34 minutes of play Pettans Gamla Gubbar's William Friberger was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. William Friberger hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Boris Dahlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Andberg in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Högman saved Pettans Gamla Gubbar from getting behind. Anton Högman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Andberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Boris Dahlgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Pettans Gamla Gubbar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Magsyra were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henrik Andberg made a kick off. Boris Dahlgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anton Högman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Boris Dahlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertil Flink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Arman Smedfeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boris Dahlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boris Dahlgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Högman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boris Dahlgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Billy Vesterberg hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Åke Henriksson's late challenge caught a FC Magsyra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
