Spectators: 7307 (Terracing: 5481, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christian Vester got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Grönahög FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Anselius to maneuver through the defense. Holger Vollander was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. André Apelquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Eddie Nykvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luxostars IF's Eddie Nykvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Jespersson in the 14th minute of play. Ture Käller kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Luxostars IF's goalkeeper Eddie Nykvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute André Apelquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Nykvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grönahög FK's Dag Anselius suffered a sprained foot after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Christian Vester struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Arman Tingberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luxostars IF. A collision led to Luxostars IF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Christian Vester hit a great ball. Christian Vester received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arman Tingberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Christian Vester slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. Arman Tingberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Vester, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When Sten Ekegren fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luxostars IF's protests and gave Sten Ekegren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Sten Ekegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jimmy Jespersson came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Grönahög FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmy Jespersson couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Sten Ekegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Luxostars IF's Leif Lindgren got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charles Bergkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Leif Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arman Tingberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Christian Vester managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luxostars IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Vester was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arman Tingberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Leif Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Ture Käller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arman Tingberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 75th minute, Christian Vester made a precise shot to the right of Arman Tingberg. Grönahög FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 80th minute Leif Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arman Tingberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arman Tingberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Lindgren in the 85th minute of the match. Jimmy Jespersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sten Ekegren was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. After 90 played minutes Luxostars IF got a freekick which was hit by Sten Ekegren. After 92 minutes, Charles Bergkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grönahög FK and the Luxostars IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Grönahög FK got a freekick which was hit by Charles Bergkvist. Luxostars IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
