Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when André Apelquist got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Sven-Åke Liljeström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Wennerqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes Grönahög FK got a freekick which was hit by André Apelquist. In the 6th minute Jimmy Pihlwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arman Tingberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy Pihlwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Arman Tingberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 minutes, Jonas Wennerqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hammarby IF and the Grönahög FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jimmy Jespersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filip Berg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Jimmy Jespersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jimmy Pihlwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Grönahög FK's Jens-Åke Alström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filip Berg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 33 played minutes Grönahög FK got a freekick which was hit by André Apelquist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Wennerqvist in the 38th minute of play forced Grönahög FK's goalkeeper Arman Tingberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Wennerqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimmy Pihlwall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimmy Pihlwall struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Arman Tingberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hammarby IF. 55 minutes into the match, Grönahög FK's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Pihlwall came free, but Arman Tingberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 58th minute of the match Jonas Wennerqvist completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jonas Wennerqvist a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 58th match minute, Hammarby IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Wennerqvist to maneuver through the defense. If Jimmy Jespersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hammarby IF booed when Grönahög FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Bergkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Hammarby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Jespersson came free, but Filip Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Wennerqvist did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Arman Tingberg 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Grönahög FK's zone, Lars Wennerqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arman Tingberg came out of the goal and Lars Wennerqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The long shot by Dan Botvidsson in the 88th minute really tested Arman Tingberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jimmy Jespersson struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Filip Berg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grönahög FK. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
