Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Tivoli Hill FC booed when Hammarby IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Sundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Forsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egil Bergqvist having to interfere. If Erland Sigfridsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hammarby IF's Egil Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Forsberg in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hammarby IF's Jan Engman got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliot Rydberg in the 14th minute of play forced Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Egil Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erland Sigfridsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukas Svensson having to interfere. Lukas Svensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ragnar Björling's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. With a little luck, Tivoli Hill FC's Lukas Svensson got control of the ball when Erland Sigfridsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lukas Svensson came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hammarby IF's Erland Sigfridsson. But to his dismay, Erland Sigfridsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Tomas Forsberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egil Bergqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Erland Sigfridsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Lukas Svensson made a huge save. Pontus Tinglöf kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Hammarby IF's Per-Olof Harlén tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hammarby IF's Erland Sigfridsson got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Hammarby IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Engman to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Tomas Forsberg made the kick off in the second half. Egil Bergqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elliot Rydberg in the 58th minute. Tomas Forsberg struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Egil Bergqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tivoli Hill FC. Egil Bergqvist made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Elliot Rydberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute Ragnar Björling suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 71 minutes, Christian Stor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tivoli Hill FC and the Hammarby IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christian Stor hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Pontus Tinglöf was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tivoli Hill FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Hammarby IF a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Per-Olof Harlén, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tivoli Hill FC's Lukas Svensson. 2-0. 87 minutes in the game, Elliot Rydberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Egil Bergqvist having to interfere. Erland Sigfridsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lukas Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Elliot Rydberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egil Bergqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hammarby IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tivoli Hill FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
