Simon United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakob Lindqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jakob Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sören Berggren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrik Clementsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Lilja was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Tomas Linqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Simon United's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Lilja came free, but Torsten Kielstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Simon United's zone, Henry Lilja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Kielstedt came out of the goal and Henry Lilja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, FC Månkarbo Fiskebäck Ltd's goalkeeper Sören Berggren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakob Lindqvist. Sören Berggren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Clementsson in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Linqvist in the 67th minute of play forced Simon United's goalkeeper Torsten Kielstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Linqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Kielstedt having to interfere. If Henry Lilja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakob Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Berggren having to interfere. Sören Berggren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Clementsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Torsten Kielstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Linqvist in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Lilja in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Kielstedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jakob Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Sören Berggren managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Simon United's Patrik Clementsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sören Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Clementsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, FC Månkarbo Fiskebäck Ltd's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Clementsson came free, but Sören Berggren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrik Clementsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Månkarbo Fiskebäck Ltd succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Simon United had controlled the match.
