In the 19th minute, Gustaf Hjelm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Skärblacka IK's Gustaf Hjelm got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bo Bremming made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pelle Wik in the 26th minute. Bo Bremming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Hjelm in the 27th minute of the match. Ulricehamn's Bo Bremming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Hjelm in the 29th minute of play. When Michel Söderström came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ulricehamn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Söderström couldn't finish the play. With splendid footwork Gustaf Hjelm arrived in front of goal to shoot 3-0 by the left pole in the game's 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pelle Wik got free with Bo Bremming in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gustaf Hjelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Jimmy Billvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gustaf Hjelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Bremming didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pelle Wik went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmy Billvall during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jimmy Billvall hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Bo Bremming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Hjelm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pelle Wik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pelle Wik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Skärblacka IK's Pelle Wik got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Gustaf Hjelm put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bo Bremming. In the 75th minute, Pelle Wik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bo Bremming was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Joseph Wennersten got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Wik in the 82nd minute of play forced Ulricehamn's goalkeeper Bo Bremming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaf Hjelm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bo Bremming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pelle Wik succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-0. Bo Bremming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Borre, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Pelle Wik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bo Bremming. Ulricehamn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pelle Wik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Michel Söderström struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Skärblacka IK fully deserved thier win.
