Spectators: 7298 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonny Smefeldt took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Bromma IP's Birger Lindgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joar Sandwall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Wilhelm Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonny Smefeldt in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmy Engman saved Bromma IP from getting behind. In the 8th minute, Gunnar Wallengren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lilywhites fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Thedin in the 12th minute of play forced Lilywhites's goalkeeper Joar Sandwall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Wallengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimmy Engman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Smefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes, Ted Åhman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bromma IP and the Lilywhites players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Bromma IP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ted Åhman to maneuver through the defense. Joar Sandwall was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilhelm Thedin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. In the 25th minute, Wilhelm Thedin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilhelm Thedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bromma IP booed when Lilywhites was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Blanck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Sten Hallgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joar Sandwall showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Lilywhites booed when Bromma IP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Lindmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birger Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Joar Sandwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wilhelm Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lilywhites getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gabriel Hökkvist hit a great ball. Birger Lindgren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Joar Sandwall when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wilhelm Thedin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Joar Sandwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilhelm Thedin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lilywhites's Joar Sandwall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Lindgren in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Birger Lindgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bromma IP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birger Lindgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Lilywhites's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Thedin came free, but Joar Sandwall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Thedin in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joar Sandwall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bromma IP's Jimmy Engman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Smefeldt in the 78th minute of play. After 83 played minutes Bromma IP got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Lundgren. Jimmy Engman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonny Smefeldt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 85 minute of play. Wilhelm Thedin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Joar Sandwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Bromma IP defense, Gunnar Wallengren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimmy Engman. The Bromma IP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimmy Engman should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle went the supporters of Lilywhites were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Bromma IP side.
