Kjell Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, hemmaplan's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Flinck came free, but Valter Svartengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell Åberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Svartengren having to interfere. If Kjell Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Flinck in the 29th minute of play forced hemmaplan's goalkeeper Valter Svartengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to hemmaplan getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Birger Lindström hit a great ball. Kjell Åberg struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Valter Svartengren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Korsberga BF. Valter Svartengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Flinck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute of the game hemmaplan's Per Strömberg made a superb shot at goal which Folke Ek with some effort managed to grab by the crossbar. Per Strömberg fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 45th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Birger Lindström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Folke Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Birger Lindström to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Kjell Åberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Korsberga BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell Åberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valter Svartengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kjell Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, one of hemmaplan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for hemmaplan. Valter Svartengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Åberg in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, hemmaplan's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Flinck came free, but Valter Svartengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to hemmaplan getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Per Strömberg hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Gösta Flinck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Korsberga BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Gösta Flinck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valter Svartengren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valter Svartengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Flinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, hemmaplan's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Flinck came free, but Valter Svartengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gösta Flinck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valter Svartengren was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 98th minute Kjell Åberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Svartengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korsberga BF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of hemmaplan for a fine match.
