In the 7th minute, Albert Bröms got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viggo Allbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Chappuis having to interfere. Viggo Allbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norbert Chappuis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Albert Bröms dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olof Bagge, 1-0. If Albert Bröms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Norbert Chappuis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viggo Allbom went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jack Palmquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Bagge having to interfere. If Albert Bröms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Klågerup's goalkeeper Olof Bagge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Klågerup's Olof Bagge got control of the ball when Patrik Björkdahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Patrik Björkdahl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Olof Bagge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olof Bagge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Björkdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olof Bagge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarl Österlund in the 57th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Viggo Allbom took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Norbert Chappuis to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Wiktor Haglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hellas Malmö FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiktor Haglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olof Bagge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mathias Låsberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. If Albert Bröms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Bröms recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jack Palmquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Bagge having to interfere. Patrik Björkdahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
