Andreas Sjöström struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Arne Henriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gimo IK. The crowd rose to their feet as Ian Lund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arne Henriksson. That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. Arne Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Lund in the 15th minute of play. Arne Henriksson made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Andreas Sjöström sent off a good shot on target. When Sten Ahlfors fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gimo IK's protests and gave Sten Ahlfors a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Sjöström in the 25th minute of play forced Timmershults BOIS's goalkeeper Arne Henriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timmy Nordström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elliot Pihlgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Hugo Ström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Sjöström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Henriksson having to interfere. Ian Lund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arne Henriksson having to make a save. If Elliot Pihlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Timmy Nordström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Ström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 44 minutes into the game, Isak Vallander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Timmershults BOIS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gimo IK the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Timmershults BOIS were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Gimo IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eric Fastesson took the corner. Timmershults BOIS's Isak Vallander was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hugo Ström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Elliot Pihlgren struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Hugo Ström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timmershults BOIS. Timmershults BOIS's Arne Henriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Sjöström in the 60th minute of play. Hugo Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Nordström in the 67th minute of play. Timmy Nordström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Hugo Ström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Gimo IK's Hugo Ström got control of the ball when Elliot Pihlgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute Timmy Nordström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Elliot Pihlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Ström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Timmy Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Ström having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Gimo IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Lund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Nordström in the 92nd minute of play forced Gimo IK's goalkeeper Hugo Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
