After a defensive mix-up in Vistträsk FK's zone, Sivert Alfors stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars-Erik Björkman came out of the goal and Sivert Alfors tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johannes Kvick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Erik Björkman having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Joseph Klementsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vistträsk FK and the AIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joseph Klementsson hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Lars-Erik Björkman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sivert Alfors went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Kristoffer Dalman hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Lars-Erik Björkman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johannes Kvick went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Sivert Alfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Erik Björkman having to interfere. Eddie Hjälm hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Vistträsk FK's Bengt-Rune Eriksson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joseph Klementsson to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Klementsson in the 51st minute of play forced AIK's goalkeeper Elliot Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ola Zander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Lars-Erik Björkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars-Erik Björkman made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Kristoffer Dalman sent off a good shot on target. Johannes Kvick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Vistträsk FK's Joseph Klementsson got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Vistträsk FK's Lars-Erik Björkman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Kvick in the 65th minute of play. Sivert Alfors might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars-Erik Björkman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sivert Alfors ran back to his position shaking his head. Lars-Erik Björkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Kvick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes in the game, Johannes Kvick fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lars-Erik Björkman having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Johannes Kvick dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lars-Erik Björkman, 0-3. Johannes Kvick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars-Erik Björkman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Kristoffer Dalman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AIK and the Vistträsk FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AIK's Kristoffer Dalman got a free kick in the 88th minute. Lars-Erik Björkman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sivert Alfors, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Johannes Kvick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Kvick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over AIK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vistträsk FK throughout the match.
