After some careless play in the Strumprullarnas BK defense, Mathias Rydelius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristian Hökkvist. The Strumprullarnas BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristian Hökkvist should have stopped the shot. Mathias Rydelius might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristian Hökkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathias Rydelius ran back to his position shaking his head. Sune Sundling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Hubert Cane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sune Sundling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Maximilian Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Rydelius in the 28th minute of play forced Strumprullarnas BK's goalkeeper Kristian Hökkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sune Sundling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Hubert Cane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sune Sundling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chelsea FC booed when Strumprullarnas BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Nordstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chelsea FC's Erik Löfgren got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the game, Kenneth Lundgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kristian Hökkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximilian Forsberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sune Sundling took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hubert Cane. Hubert Cane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Hubert Cane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Sundling, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Maximilian Forsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Hubert Cane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Verner Skytt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 73 minutes, Sune Sundling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strumprullarnas BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sune Sundling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximilian Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th minute, Strumprullarnas BK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mathias Rydelius fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias Rydelius got free with Kristian Hökkvist in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximilian Forsberg in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hubert Cane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The attack was good, but when Maximilian Forsberg in the 96th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Chants of Chelsea FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Strumprullarnas BK had held the ball for most of the match.
