Karl-Magnus Bruhn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolf Vidman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Meseeks booed when Ängelholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Uter didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Martinsson in the 20th minute of play forced Meseeks's goalkeeper Kristian Blomkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Meseeks's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Wallgren came free, but Kristian Blomkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Bruhn in the 29th minute of play forced Ängelholm's goalkeeper Rolf Vidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ängelholm's Torsten Wallgren in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Meseeks's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute, Stig Nordström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mats Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Blomkvist having to interfere. Torsten Wallgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torsten Wallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolf Vidman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leif Sundberg went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute, Stig Nordström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Magnus Bruhn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Torsten Wallgren hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Pål Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Meseeks booed when Ängelholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Mellbad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolf Vidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Sundberg in the 57th minute of play. Kristian Blomkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Wallgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Wallgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kristian Blomkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Meseeks's Karl-Magnus Bruhn got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mats Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Blomkvist having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ängelholm's Torsten Wallgren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kristian Blomkvist. That made the score 2-2 after 77 minutes of play. If Torsten Wallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes of play, Ängelholm's Robin Billvall made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristian Blomkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mats Martinsson struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Kristian Blomkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ängelholm. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ludwig Granberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ängelholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludwig Granberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristian Blomkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Meseeks getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Pål Sjöberg hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Ängelholm left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Meseeks.
