Daniel Biörnberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Wennerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Biörnberg ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Dahlqvist in the 7th minute of play forced Leksand BF's goalkeeper Urban Säv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zebastian Gullesson kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Daniel Biörnberg struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Allan Wennerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leksand BF. Elof Collin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Urban Säv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Ove Dahlqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urban Säv having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Karl-Ove Dahlqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urban Säv was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 24th minute, Brian Hedkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Leksand BF's zone, Karl-Ove Dahlqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urban Säv came out of the goal and Karl-Ove Dahlqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elof Collin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wheelbridge Pioneers's Elof Collin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Wheelbridge Pioneers's Allan Wennerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Nässén in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Leksand BF's zone, Elof Collin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urban Säv came out of the goal and Elof Collin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Dahlqvist in the 40th minute of play forced Leksand BF's goalkeeper Urban Säv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Ahlquist hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Karl-Ove Dahlqvist made the kick off in the second half. Urban Säv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elof Collin in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes, Brian Hedkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leksand BF and the Wheelbridge Pioneers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Leksand BF getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Brian Hedkvist hit a great ball. Karl-Ove Dahlqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Urban Säv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Ove Dahlqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Biörnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Jan-Erik Nässén took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Allan Wennerberg to make any attempt to save it. If Karl-Ove Dahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Wennerberg made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Daniel Biörnberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute Leksand BF were awarded a corner. Karl-Oskar Bergvall went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Biörnberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Allan Wennerberg made a huge save. Herbert Ahlquist kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Karl-Ove Dahlqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urban Säv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urban Säv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Ove Dahlqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute Karl-Ove Dahlqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urban Säv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Ove Dahlqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urban Säv having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
