The supporters of Rambos kanoner booed when Wheelbridge Pioneers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Låsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerry Melin hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Karl-Ove Dahlqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bror Pihlblad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfred Tingberg scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Allan Wennerberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bror Pihlblad in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Wennerberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Wheelbridge Pioneers getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Dag Låsberg hit a great ball. If Bror Pihlblad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manfred Tingberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Allan Wennerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Tingberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Rambos kanoner's Andreas Forss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Dahlqvist in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Wheelbridge Pioneers's Dag Låsberg got a free kick in the 60th minute. Manfred Tingberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Wennerberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Rambos kanoner booed when Wheelbridge Pioneers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Tunberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bror Pihlblad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfred Tingberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute Karl-Ove Dahlqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Forss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bror Pihlblad struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Allan Wennerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rambos kanoner. Sven Tunberg was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 79 played minutes Wheelbridge Pioneers got a freekick which was hit by Sven Tunberg. With a little luck, Wheelbridge Pioneers's Allan Wennerberg got control of the ball when Bror Pihlblad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Allan Wennerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Tingberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Manfred Tingberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Wennerberg having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Bror Pihlblad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Rambos kanoner players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
