Wictor Helander started the match with the kick off. Christian Helström's late challenge caught a Edane's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Helström helped the player get up and apologised. 4 minutes into the match, Edane's Gabriel Hjortsberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Johannes Hermansson came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Edane's Ingvar Örnberg. But to his dismay, Ingvar Örnberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Wictor Helander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Robin Brogren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Wictor Helander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riksgränsen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wictor Helander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 minutes, Jonathan Jonasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riksgränsen and the Edane players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes, Edane's Gabriel Hjortsberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Johannes Hermansson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Edane reached it. After 16 played minutes Riksgränsen got a freekick which was hit by Christian Helström. Edgar Hellqvist hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Daniel Spetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Riksgränsen's Jonny Strömberg got a free kick in the 25th minute. Daniel Spetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Brogren having to interfere. Wictor Helander received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robin Brogren came out and tried to block the shot, but Wictor Helander slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Daniel Spetz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riksgränsen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Spetz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the game, Riksgränsen's Wictor Helander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robin Brogren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Daniel Spetz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riksgränsen's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Spetz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Brogren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute Wictor Helander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Brogren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Spetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Edane's Jan Ivarsson got a free kick in the 77th minute. Robin Brogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elof Pihlwall in the 79th minute of the match. Urban Hägert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Robin Brogren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
