Elias Rosendahl hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute of the match Vidar Grönberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kalle Johnsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Charles Drewitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rickard Granqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to IFK Göteborg getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jimmie Asklund hit a great ball. Charles Drewitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Kalle Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to IFK Göteborg getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Elias Rosendahl hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charles Drewitz in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kalle Johnsson saved IFK Göteborg from getting behind. After 20 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Jimmie Asklund. Kalle Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Drewitz in the 24th minute of the match. Charles Drewitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Johnsson having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Vidar Grönberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kalle Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Olsson in the 29th minute of play. Bo Lilja hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Elkmasters BK's goalkeeper Peder Torsberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Ove Molin. After having played for 44 minutes, Charles Drewitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elkmasters BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Drewitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Rosendahl to make the kick off. Rickard Granqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Johnsson having to interfere. If Jan Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Bo Lilja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Elkmasters BK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Rickard Granqvist hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Charles Drewitz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kalle Johnsson. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 76th match minute, IFK Göteborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Rosendahl to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Elias Rosendahl made a precise shot to the right of Peder Torsberg. Elkmasters BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With a little luck, IFK Göteborg's Kalle Johnsson got control of the ball when Charles Drewitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Charles Drewitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Kalle Johnsson made a huge save. Jan Olsson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles Drewitz got free with Kalle Johnsson in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, IFK Göteborg's Isaac Sellberg got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Elkmasters BK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than IFK Göteborg.
