Spectators: 7293 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 144) Alnö BF's Tage Nässén started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Tony Bäcklin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hedens IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Bäcklin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 5 played minutes Alnö BF got a freekick which was hit by Leif Biörnberg. 10 minutes into the match, Alnö BF's Robin Möllgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claes Wållander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Tage Nässén managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alnö BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tage Nässén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claes Wållander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 15 minutes, Robin Möllgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alnö BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Möllgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Alnö BF's zone, Tony Bäcklin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes Granberg came out of the goal and Tony Bäcklin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hedens IF's Claes Wållander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Nässén in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Hedens IF's Tony Bäcklin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johannes Granberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tony Bäcklin scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johannes Granberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torbjörn Ström might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johannes Granberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torbjörn Ström ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Alnö BF's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Ström came free, but Johannes Granberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Granberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Ström in the 42nd minute of play. If Robin Möllgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes in the game, Tage Nässén fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Claes Wållander having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tony Bäcklin made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Alvin Böcklund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claes Wållander skillfully saved the ball. In the 57th minute, Alvin Elg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Bäcklin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Granberg having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Hedens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Möllgren came free, but Claes Wållander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torbjörn Ström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Johannes Granberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Sigvard Uter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Johannes Granberg. Sigvard Uter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 1-4 became the score in the 88th minute when Torbjörn Ström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Torbjörn Ström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johannes Granberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Hedens IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
