Vessigebro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Östen Hamnberg scored to the left of an out of position Agne Ek, making the score, 1-0. Alf Holmberg charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alf Holmberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of MangeFC booed when Vessigebro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Holmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, MangeFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Bammerman came free, but Dan Qvalfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Harald Palm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dan Qvalfeldt. MangeFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harald Palm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 20 minutes into the game, Alfred Asklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MangeFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vessigebro the free kick. After 20 played minutes MangeFC got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Asklund. Dan Qvalfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Palm in the 21st minute of play. Karl-Oskar Sandwall charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Oskar Sandwall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, MangeFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Oskar Sandwall to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Ingvar Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Karl-Erik Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. MangeFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Erik Jonasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agne Ek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Harald Palm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dan Qvalfeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Bammerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MangeFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Alfred Asklund hit a great ball. When Östen Hamnberg came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the MangeFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Östen Hamnberg couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Östen Hamnberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Erik Jonasson to strike the kick off in the second half. Karl-Erik Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vessigebro's Agne Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Östen Hamnberg in the 64th minute of play. If Harald Palm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Vessigebro booed when MangeFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Erik Jonasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MangeFC's zone, Carl Åman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Qvalfeldt came out of the goal and Carl Åman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MangeFC's Dan Qvalfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Palm in the 77th minute of play. Harald Palm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Dan Qvalfeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Qvalfeldt made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Gustav Bammerman sent off a good shot on target. Karl-Oskar Sandwall kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. MangeFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Harald Palm scored to the left of an out of position Dan Qvalfeldt, making the score, 1-2. In the 91st minute, MangeFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Harald Palm fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustav Bammerman got free with Dan Qvalfeldt in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, MangeFC's Andy Lundqvist got a free kick in the 94th minute. The corner led Vessigebro's Ingvar Ek to fire away a dangerous shot which Dan Qvalfeldt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The MangeFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vessigebro's performance. The match ended with a win for Vessigebro.
