Samuel Rönn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Alvar Sundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Erik Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Erik Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Stig-Åke Kjellqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Väring FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Death IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Väring FF's Stig-Åke Kjellqvist got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Väring FF's Stig-Åke Kjellqvist was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Sven-Arne Apelqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, Death IF's Alvar Sundström got control of the ball when Samuel Rönn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvar Sundström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Åke Kjellqvist in the 42nd minute. Death IF's Alvar Sundström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Death IF from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Väring FF getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Samuel Rönn hit a great ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bo Skark stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvar Sundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Kjellqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Bo Skark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bo Beckeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Pär Gerdberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alvar Sundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Pär Gerdberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bo Beckeman, passed just outside the right post. Stig-Åke Kjellqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvar Sundström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Pär Gerdberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Death IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Pär Gerdberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bo Beckeman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Väring FF's Bo Beckeman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Skark in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Erik Sjöberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Arne Apelqvist, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Väring FF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
