After a rather tough play, Death IF's Sven-Ove Alkvist got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Magne Juhlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvar Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magne Juhlin in the 18th minute of play. Bo Skark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Magne Juhlin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvar Sundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Magne Juhlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvar Sundström having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Death IF's Bo Skark got a free kick in the 76th minute. Alvar Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magne Juhlin in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Marcus Fristedt made a precise shot to the right of Alvar Sundström. Death IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Marcus Fristedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Death IF's Bo Skark got a free kick in the 88th minute. A collision led to FC Salkin getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Max Eklund hit a great ball. Death IF were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after FC Salkin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sven-Arne Apelqvist took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sven-Arne Apelqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roger Lundin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Salkin fans cheered their team off the field, for while Death IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
