Rottne's Jon Lindberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Uno Wik but with some difficulty. Leonardo Bjurström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Wik having to interfere. Per-Åke Myr's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Uno Wik skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Marcus Högberg came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Vällingby AIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Högberg couldn't finish the play. Olov Blanck charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olov Blanck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claes Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
