Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Per-Oskar Uter got the match started through his kick off. 11 minutes into the match, Per-Oskar Uter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Patric Sörman, 2-0. Wictor Jönsätt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Biörkman in the 14th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Dahlby´s IK's Boris Biörkman made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wictor Jönsätt was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Dahlby´s IK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Evert Fogel hit a great ball. If Evert Fogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wictor Jönsätt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Ekeroth in the 24th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Vretstorp IK's Patric Sörman threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Per-Oskar Uter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Per-Oskar Uter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Mager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verner Ekeroth in the 37th minute of play forced Vretstorp IK's goalkeeper Wictor Jönsätt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vretstorp IK's Wictor Jönsätt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Biörkman in the 39th minute of play. With a little luck, Dahlby´s IK's Patric Sörman got control of the ball when Roland Mager tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boris Biörkman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wictor Jönsätt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Biörkman in the 54th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Dahlby´s IK's Wictor Jönsätt threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Evert Fogel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dahlby´s IK's Patric Sörman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Mager in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Boris Biörkman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dahlby´s IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Biörkman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wictor Jönsätt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wictor Jönsätt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Wik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patric Sörman came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Vretstorp IK's Harald Bergström. But to his dismay, Harald Bergström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. With a little luck, Vretstorp IK's Wictor Jönsätt got control of the ball when Verner Ekeroth tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Boris Biörkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Mager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Vretstorp IK's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Biörkman came free, but Wictor Jönsätt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Wictor Jönsätt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, Dahlby´s IK's Wictor Jönsätt threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Boris Biörkman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 81 minutes into the game, Dahlby´s IK's Verner Ekeroth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wictor Jönsätt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. If Evert Fogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Björn Sandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patric Sörman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Mager, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 90 played minutes, Vretstorp IK's Mark Fanström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patric Sörman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vretstorp IK reached it. Boris Biörkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Jönsätt having to interfere. Evert Fogel hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 99th minute Vretstorp IK were awarded a corner. Jens-Erik Lund went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 99th minute, Roland Mager fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Vretstorp IK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
