Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tony Wall got the match started through his kick off. If John Tomasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Tony Wall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hammarby IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Wall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elof Svensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Tomasson in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Lindberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johannes Dalström struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Adam Lindberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hestra. In the 16th minute, John Tomasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adam Lindberg made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Johannes Dalström sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute of the match, John Tomasson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adam Lindberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Johannes Dalström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Lindberg having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Johannes Dalström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam Lindberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Johannes Dalström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Lindberg having to interfere. When John Tomasson came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Hestra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Tomasson couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Adam Lindberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Dalström. In the 42nd minute John Tomasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Lindberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Gudmundsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 49th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adam Lindberg could save by the left post. In the 49th minute, Aaron Gudmundsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hestra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Adam Lindberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Forsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Johannes Dalström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Lindberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Wall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. John Tomasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, John Tomasson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adam Lindberg. Hammarby IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Tomasson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 72 minutes into the match, Hammarby IF's goal looked a bit too open when John Tomasson came free, but Adam Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hammarby IF's Adam Lindberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Tomasson in the 74th minute of play. Gert Fransson charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gert Fransson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Hammarby IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hestra:s goal. Johannes Dalström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, John Tomasson notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Hammarby IF's Adam Lindberg. Adam Lindberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Adam Lindberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 92 minutes, Johannes Dalström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hestra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Dalström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adam Lindberg came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Hestra's John Tomasson. But to his dismay, John Tomasson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Johannes Dalström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Adam Lindberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hestra walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
