Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sven Ryberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Åke Allbom got free with Sten Johansson in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Åke Allbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Johansson having to interfere. Alf Bolander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Eckegren having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Åke Allbom put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sten Johansson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludwig Gunnarsson in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonny Eckegren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bromölla BF's Sten Johansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Bromölla BF from getting a goal against them. Sten Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Ryberg in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Bror Lundström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bromölla BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Säffle the free kick. The supporters of Säffle booed when Bromölla BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Lundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Blanck kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Alf Bolander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Eckegren having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Ryberg in the 37th minute of play forced Bromölla BF's goalkeeper Sten Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Säffle got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Pettersson. If Åke Allbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ludwig Gunnarsson was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 59 minutes, Åke Allbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Säffle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åke Allbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ludwig Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åke Allbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sten Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sten Johansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Allbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jonny Samuelsson's late challenge caught a Säffle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonny Samuelsson helped the player get up and apologised. Jonny Samuelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Jonny Samuelsson got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Sven Ryberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Säffle had played much better football throughout.
