Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Patric Melin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Vartofta's Nils-Åke Strand got control of the ball when Charlie Karlstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 6 played minutes, Vartofta's Alf Haeger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Verner Mogren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vartofta reached it. In the 6th match minute, Getinge BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Forsell to maneuver through the defense. Jonny Lang hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Nils-Åke Strand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Billy Norberg in the 17th minute. Nils-Åke Strand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Billy Norberg went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Getinge BF's Bo-Erik Cane got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patric Melin in the 32nd minute of play forced Getinge BF's goalkeeper Verner Mogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Jonny Lang sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Verner Mogren skillfully saved the ball. In the 42nd minute, Billy Norberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils-Åke Strand was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bo-Erik Cane made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Getinge BF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Patric Melin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vilhelm Kjellman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bo-Erik Cane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patric Melin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 65 minutes into the game, Bo-Erik Cane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Nils-Åke Strand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Getinge BF getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Vilhelm Kjellman hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Bo-Erik Cane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils-Åke Strand was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When Erling Skoog fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vartofta's protests and gave Erling Skoog a yellow card for diving instead. Erling Skoog hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Bo-Erik Cane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jakob Forsell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 87 played minutes, Getinge BF's Krister Käller shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nils-Åke Strand came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Getinge BF reached it. In the 88th minute, Billy Norberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils-Åke Strand was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Bo-Erik Cane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Billy Norberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Getinge BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Billy Norberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo-Erik Cane in the 98th minute of play forced Vartofta's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Strand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Getinge BF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
