The goal made the score 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, Knut Svensson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Viktor Finman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 minutes of play, Ruth Wegaz's Markus Paulin made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Finman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute, Robert Sundén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Magnus Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Oskar Stål having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Bo Biörkman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viktor Finman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Svensson in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute Knut Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Finman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Magnus Holm's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Karl-Oskar Stål firmly grabbed it by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Knut Svensson to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Ruth Wegaz's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Magnus Holm came free, but Karl-Oskar Stål reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Magnus Holm spun around in front of the goal 63 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Ruth Wegaz's goal. In the 68th minute Bo Biörkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Oskar Stål saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bo Biörkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Per-Oskar Hansson fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Törstiga FK's protests and gave Per-Oskar Hansson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Törstiga FK's Per-Oskar Hansson got a free kick in the 80th minute. Karl-Oskar Stål showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Biörkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Törstiga FK's zone, Knut Svensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Finman came out of the goal and Knut Svensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viktor Finman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Knut Svensson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 89 minute of play. After 92 played minutes Ruth Wegaz got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Barck. If Markus Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ruth Wegaz walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
