The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Hällingsjö IK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. After 5 played minutes Hällingsjö IK got a freekick which was hit by Tor Biörkquist. Valter Tham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Mogren in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Pirajorna's goalkeeper Marcus Hedlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pål Axelsson. Mattias Mogren took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valter Tham. Valter Tham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Mattias Mogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pirajorna's Marcus Hedlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Grep in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Pirajorna getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ingvar Holmgren hit a great ball. Per-Erik Bergman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Valter Tham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Erik Bergman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Mattias Mogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Tham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Per-Erik Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pål Axelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Marcus Hedlund made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingemar Grep to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Pål Axelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirajorna's Marcus Hedlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hällingsjö IK's goalkeeper Valter Tham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pål Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Marcus Hedlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Hällingsjö IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Frisk to maneuver through the defense. Mattias Mogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Tham having to interfere. Pål Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hällingsjö IK's Pål Axelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 played minutes Hällingsjö IK got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Persson. Hällingsjö IK's Tor Biörkquist got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Tor Biörkquist off the ground. The supporters of Pirajorna booed when Hällingsjö IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Biörkquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fritz Forssberg's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Valter Tham on his right side and into the goal. 82 minutes into the game it was 0-3. A collision led to Pirajorna getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Sven-Edvin Almkvist hit a great ball. The Pirajorna players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
