Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Magnus Helander kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalle Sandström in the 14th minute of play forced Pålsboda's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Sigman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Tormestorp IFK's Kalle Sandström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell-Arne Sigman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kjell-Arne Sigman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalle Sandström, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Tommy Rosin's late challenge caught a Pålsboda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Rosin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pålsboda booed when Tormestorp IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Rosin didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Jakob Ekelund from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Tommy Bokelund's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in Tormestorp IFK's zone, Tage Hedlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Bokelund came out of the goal and Tage Hedlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th match minute, Tormestorp IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Rosin to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Tormestorp IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Tage Hedlund came free, but Tommy Bokelund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig-Ove Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Bokelund having to interfere. Tommy Bokelund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tage Hedlund in the 40th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When Tormestorp IFK's Magnus Helander in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A nice corner shot did that Erling Sundberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kjell-Arne Sigman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tommy Bokelund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Hydén in the 59th minute of play. Tommy Bokelund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Ove Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Pålsboda's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Sigman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kalle Sandström. The Tormestorp IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Bokelund should have stopped the shot. After having played for 94 minutes, Stig-Ove Lindgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pålsboda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Ove Lindgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pålsboda fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tormestorp IFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
