In the 12th minute, Märsta RK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jan Soned fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Karl-Axel Säfström struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Börge Mager didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Märsta RK. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Soned during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Biggus IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Soned to maneuver through the defense. Kurt Algren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. In the 30th minute Gilbert Åström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börge Mager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börge Mager took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Gilbert Åström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Börge Mager was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 33 minutes into the match, Märsta RK's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Josefsson came free, but Modesto Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Biggus IF booed when Märsta RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Nils Fredriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per Alrot struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Modesto Iratxo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biggus IF. Kurt Algren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Modesto Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefan Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modesto Iratxo made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Kurt Algren sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Axel Säfström to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Biggus IF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Axel Säfström came free, but Börge Mager reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kim Eliasson fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Biggus IF's protests and gave Kim Eliasson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Biggus IF getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Kim Eliasson hit a great ball. Sven Albohm hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Kurt Algren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Biggus IF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Axel Säfström came free, but Börge Mager reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven Albohm kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Modesto Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Josefsson in the 84th minute of play. Modesto Iratxo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Josefsson's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Karl-Axel Säfström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Börge Mager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Axel Säfström in the 89th minute of play forced Biggus IF's goalkeeper Börge Mager to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Märsta RK's Sven Albohm got a free kick in the 91st minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Märsta RK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
