Spectators: 7178 (Terracing: 5471, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 30) Beckomberga FF's Niklas Stabbe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Modesto Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Arne Lidman in the 3rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven Albohm during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Beckomberga FF booed when Märsta RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Albohm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beckomberga FF's Sebastian Björkdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Åström in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Tord Säf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Björkdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Axel Säfström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Björkdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Kaxe in the 37th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Jan Bäcklin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Modesto Iratxo, passed just outside the right post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Axel Säfström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilbert Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Björkdal having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Gilbert Åström made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Björkdal. Beckomberga FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After having played for 66 minutes, Karl-Axel Säfström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Märsta RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Axel Säfström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 79 minutes of play, Beckomberga FF's Niklas Stabbe made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Iratxo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Niklas Stabbe took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modesto Iratxo. Modesto Iratxo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 95th minute, Sven Albohm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tord Säf fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Märsta RK's protests and gave Tord Säf a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Märsta RK getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Tord Säf hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Beckomberga FF had played much better football throughout.
