The referee ignored Rusksele's protests and gave Anton Clementsson a yellow card for diving instead. Anton Clementsson hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Jens-Åke Nykvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Simon Sundberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Simon Sundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jens-Åke Nykvist came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Rusksele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Åke Nykvist couldn't finish the play. Hammarbibajen's Simon Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Wästerberg in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hammarbibajen's goalkeeper Simon Sundberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johan Heggert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Jens-Åke Nykvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Simon Sundberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Rusksele booed when Hammarbibajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Brandt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Åke Nykvist struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Simon Sundberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rusksele. If Morgan Wästerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Åke Nykvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarbibajen's zone, Morgan Wästerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hammarbibajen's Simon Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Wästerberg in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Morgan Wästerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rusksele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morgan Wästerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morgan Wästerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Johansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hammarbibajen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rusksele the free kick. Torbjörn Johansson hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Rusksele's Jens-Åke Nykvist got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rusksele had played much better football throughout.
