Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) Nils-Åke Söderkvist made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Jonsered getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Bernt Hägg hit a great ball. Eric Säfström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Malmström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Kjell Lundqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kangos's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell Lundqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stellan Alkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the game, Ragnar Bocklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jonsered's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kangos the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Jonsered was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Bocklund to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th match minute, Jonsered was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Hägg to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute William Håning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Alkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonsered's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when William Håning scored to the left of an out of position Stellan Alkvist, making the score, 1-0. William Håning might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stellan Alkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Håning ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Malmström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Åke Söderkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Joel Malmström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Säfström in the 34th minute of play. Nils-Åke Söderkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Joel Malmström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Säfström struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Joel Malmström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jonsered. Eric Säfström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Malmström having to interfere.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell William Håning to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Jonsered's Eric Säfström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Malmström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Martin Tinglöv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Nils-Åke Söderkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils-Åke Söderkvist in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Malmström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. William Håning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Jonsered's Åke Classon got a free kick in the 66th minute. The audience held their breath when Börje Rydelius in the 68th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Stellan Alkvist's left hand side. When Hjalmar Vester fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kangos's protests and gave Hjalmar Vester a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jonsered booed when Kangos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Vester didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, Jonsered was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Wennerqvist to maneuver through the defense. Kangos's Joel Malmström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Kangos from getting a goal against them. Hjalmar Vester hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils-Åke Söderkvist in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Malmström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stellan Alkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Håning's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. If William Håning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, Nils-Åke Söderkvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joel Malmström. Nils-Åke Söderkvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.
