Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 100) Tibro BK's Lennart Carlsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcus Hellström in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arne Spetz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 6th minute, Samuel Bohlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lennart Carlsson in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Ove Biörkquist saved Sturefors from getting behind. Conny Svartengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Spetz having to interfere. Jens-Ove Biörkquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Alexander Hamnberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sturefors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tibro BK the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Sturefors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Hamnberg to maneuver through the defense. Lennart Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jens-Ove Biörkquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tibro BK's zone, Conny Svartengren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Spetz came out of the goal and Conny Svartengren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvin Jansson's late challenge caught a Sturefors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edvin Jansson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sturefors booed when Tibro BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Jansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aron Sjö received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Arne Spetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sturefors's zone, Lennart Carlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ove Biörkquist came out of the goal and Lennart Carlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kent Dahlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Samuel Bohlin sped through Sturefors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jens-Ove Biörkquist. Lennart Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tibro BK's goalkeeper Arne Spetz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aron Sjö to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Samuel Bohlin suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Jonas Melberg charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Melberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sturefors getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jonas Melberg hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Emil Hylander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tibro BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Hylander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Ove Biörkquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emil Hylander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Biörkquist having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Tibro BK's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Sjö came free, but Arne Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Hylander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sturefors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Ove Pilgren scored to the left of an out of position Jens-Ove Biörkquist, making the score, 0-2. Arne Spetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Sjö in the 72nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Emil Hylander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jens-Ove Biörkquist. That made the score 0-3 in the 80 minute of play. In the 84th minute, Aron Sjö made a precise shot to the right of Arne Spetz. Tibro BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Arne Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Sjö, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Sturefors's Conny Svartengren got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Sturefors fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tibro BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
