Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Örjan Nordin started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Björneborg IK booed when Norra Hallsås IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Odman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrik Ugla was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Norra Hallsås IF getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Matthias Hedlund hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Norra Hallsås IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Björneborg IK:s goal. Örjan Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Örjan Nordin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kent Hamberg. The goal made the score 2-1. With his leg Kent Hamberg managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Björneborg IK's Jens-Åke Salqvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jens-Åke Salqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Kent Hamberg made a huge save. When Örjan Nordin came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Björneborg IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Örjan Nordin couldn't finish the play. Jens-Åke Salqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Hamberg having to interfere. Kent Hamberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Nordin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anton Wahlnäs was the one to do the kick off. Peter Haeger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Haeger in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kennet Holm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the match, Örjan Nordin notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Norra Hallsås IF's Kent Hamberg. Kent Hamberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kennet Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Wahlnäs in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Jens-Åke Salqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Björneborg IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Åke Salqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örjan Nordin in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kent Hamberg saved Norra Hallsås IF from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Jens-Åke Salqvist notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Norra Hallsås IF's Kent Hamberg. Kent Hamberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Björneborg IK's Gustav Biörk got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens-Åke Salqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Kent Hamberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kent Hamberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örjan Nordin in the 74th minute of the match. Jens-Åke Salqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Björneborg IK booed when Norra Hallsås IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Nordin in the 79th minute of play forced Norra Hallsås IF's goalkeeper Kent Hamberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Björneborg IK booed when Norra Hallsås IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Patrik Ugla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kent Hamberg skillfully saved the ball. Jim Kjellman kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Patrik Ugla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kent Hamberg. Norra Hallsås IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anton Wahlnäs struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Kennet Holm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norra Hallsås IF. Peter Haeger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Kennet Holm made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Björneborg IK had played much better football throughout.
