The audience was convinced that Lennart Carlsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pontus Åkesson was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Lennart Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Pontus Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tibro BK booed when Ingarö United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Göransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Samuel Bohlin came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Tibro BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Bohlin couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Lennart Carlsson notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ingarö United's Pontus Åkesson. Pontus Åkesson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samuel Bohlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Åkesson having to interfere. Pontus Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sten Göransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 44 minutes into the game, Samuel Bohlin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Pontus Åkesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 67th minute, Tibro BK's Lennart Carlsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pontus Åkesson. Pontus Åkesson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Lennart Carlsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pontus Åkesson. That made the score 2-5 in the 74 minute of play. After some careless play in the Ingarö United defense, Samuel Bohlin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pontus Åkesson. The Ingarö United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pontus Åkesson should have stopped the shot. Thor Hegg took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne Spetz. Arne Spetz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-6. After 93 minutes, Tomas Björkdal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tibro BK and the Ingarö United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ingarö United booed when Tibro BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Björkdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibro BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
